Here you can eat really good regional dishes, the food is tasty and sufficient, the service very friendly. However, if you expect a castle on a larger scale, you will probably be disappointed ... more of a castle :-)

We love to go there to have a nice meal. There is a rustic room and the winter garden. The winter garden is beautifully open and our favorite place. The rustic part is a matter of taste - but not negative, but from ambient preference to ambient preference .... :) The service always has a nice smile, is attentive and efficient. The food is excellent - kudos to the kitchen. If there are a lot of people in the restaurant, it of course takes a little longer to eat, which is fully understandable, because if you want good food, you will be rewarded with every bite for waiting :) So the bottom line: go and enjoy it :)

This time everything was excellent again, consistently good performance in the kitchen and service. The steaks are legendary, the veal goulash with chanterelles and wild rice from the menu of the day was a poem. The side salads are fresh and crunchy with really good dressing. The winter garden could be ventilated surprisingly effectively even on a warm day, that was very pleasant and the service was always good. The whole thing considering the quality at absolutely reasonable prices.

I love to eat there right now in the beer garden. The food is very tasty and is made differently if you wish. The service is also very friendly 😊. Again and again!!!!

I had roast pork in beer sauce with pretzel dumplings and a side salad. I found everything very tasty. The sauce tasted like everything else, homemade. The food was hot when it came to the table. I had a dark draft beer and then a Riesling from the Rheingau. The waitress was polite and unobtrusive, the way I like it. All in all, everything was round.

We were there with family and toddler at Christmas. Very good food, friendly service and very child-friendly with extra chairs ... already placed at the table. Completely satisfied and nice stay ... Very quiet, cozy and relaxed upstairs.

A real castle! Nice cozy restaurant with good food and very nice staff! Giant window to look out, nice dishes and glasses, wooden tables. Lovingly covered. There is a daily specials menu and large portions of quality food. In summer there is a garden in front of the castle to eat and drink outside. A historic place! Very nice!

The menu offers down-to-earth tavern cuisine, just the thing on this day. First of all, I had to fancy that there was no liver dumpling soup. Instead of this, I was offered a Markklösschensuppe, which I also took. The soup was anything but good. Vegetable broth, as a deposit there were pieces of beef, viiiiel vegetables and marrow dumplings - strange combination and not at all delicious! For the main course it should be a Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes, first there was the Viennese kind variant, as it did not understand the service correctly. When the veal schnitzel was there, I asked at the table: "why do we come here?" - Everything that was on our plate, you can get home just as good and with a little skill! On the Nachbartellern sauces were represented, which had their beginning in the powder, the salad dressing was also finished from the bottle, vegetable cookies were TK. So, nothing worth having for dinner! We will not eat there anymore and I will NOT recommend it.

Food, service, location...everything was great. My sirloin (Rump-) steak was very tasty...just a tad over the medium rare that I ordered but still very well prepared. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The outdoor seating is nice.

Atmosphere was very nice. Service was very good and friendly. I had the sirloin steak with fries and salad. The taste was very good, but the steak was a little tough. Definitely enjoyed it and would go back again.
